En la primera historia, el Doctor Centella acaba de salvar al mundo derrotando al temible Barón Mordo y a Nebuloso. Como compensación, la entidad conocida como: El Tribunal Viviente lo envía a un mundo terrífico donde Nebuloso aprisionó a la bella Victoria Bentley, solo para encontrarse con que Victoria está retenida por Yandroth, el Sabio Supremo, que trata de hacer desistir a Centella de su misión en ese mundo salvaje. Entonces es inevitable el choque entre la Magia, representada por Centella y la Ciencia, representada por Yandroth. ¿Saldrá bien librado Centella de este apasionante duelo? Esta genial historia cuenta con el guión de Dan Adkins y Jim Lawrence, así como los magistrales dibujos y tintas del mismo Dan Adkins. Fíjense en los paisajes y seres de pesadilla excelentemente dibujados por este magnífico artista. En la segunda historia, Nick Furia ha sido capturado por la amenaza oriental que se hace llamar Garra Amarilla, que trata de sojuzgar al mundo con un arma nueva denominada "El Aniquilador" la cual fue desarrollada inicialmente por la organización conocida como A.I.M. (Avanzada de Ideas Mecánicas). Este maleante tratará de abatir toda la Isla de Manhattan con el arma mencionada pero antes la probara... adivinen, si... en el mismísimo Nick Furia. esta vez parece no haber escape. ¿Sobrevivirá Furia?
